Remy’s Executive Team
 
John Weber
John H. Weber, Chief Executive Officer and Director. Mr. Weber was elected as our Chief Executive Officer and director in January 2006. Prior to joining Remy, Mr. Weber served as President, Chief Executive Officer and director of Eagle Picher, Inc. since July 2001. Prior to that, Mr. Weber served as President of the Industrial Controls and Friction Materials Group for Honeywell International since July 2000.
 
Jay Pittas
Jay Pittas, Senior Vice President and President of Remy Inc. Mr. Pittas joined the company in August 2006. Prior to joining Remy, Mr. Pittas served as President of the Wolverine Gasket business for Eagle Picher Industries. Prior to that, he spent 14 years with Honeywell in its Industrial Automation and Control business.
 
Jay Sanchez
Jay Sanchez, Senior Vice President and President of Remy Power Products. Mr. Sanchez joined the company in May 2008. Prior to joining Remy, Mr. Sanchez was Managing Director for ArvinMeritor Light Vehicle Aftermarket in Europe and South Africa. Previously, he served as Managing Director for several joint ventures with Procesa Group.
 
Phillippe James
Philippe James, President and Managing Director of Europe. Mr. James joined the company in October 2006. Prior to joining Remy, Mr. James had served as a consultant on a variety of automotive assignments throughout Europe. Prior to that, he served as the VP and General Manager at Honeywell Automotive and Cables Pirelli S.A. respectively. Additionally, he has over 20 years of experience in various sales and marketing roles with Corning Glass France and Compagnie Europeenne D'Accumulateurs
 
Fred Knechtel
Fred Knechtel, Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Knechtel joined the company in November 2009. Mr. Knechtel was most recently CFO at Stanley Bostitch, a $550 million division of Stanley Works. He has a vast amount of financial experience at Northrup Grumman, Stern Stewart, Millennium Chemicals and DuPont Teijin Films. Mr. Knechtel has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stonybrook University, and an MBA from Hofstra University.
 
Jerry Mills
Gerald T. Mills, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Mr. Mills joined the company in May 2006. Prior to joining Remy, Mr. Mills was Vice President of Human Resources at NVR Inc. a $5B homebuilding company based in Reston, Virginia. Previously, he served four years as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Eagle Picher. Prior to joining Eagle Picher, Mr. Mills was with Owens Corning for 28 years.
 
Quinn Williams
Quinn Williams serves as General Counsel for Remy International. Mr. Williams is a partner with Greenberg Traurig. He began his role with Remy in February 2007. He has previously held positions at Snell & Wilmer, Winston & Strawn, Swensen’s Inc. and Combined Communications Corporation.
