At Remy, we have a vision—of releasing our dependence on fossil fuels and creating a cleaner world in which to live and work. That’s why every product we design is focused on reducing the amount of fuel required to create electricity through our technological innovations.
Specifically, Remy’s electro-magnetic designs create efficient starters, alternators and hybrid motors that provide better fuel economy and lower emissions across all vehicle platforms. In addition, our rotating electrical components have been optimized to provide efficient electrical energy generation. And, our patented winding technologies allow us to reduce raw material usage in our alternators, starters and hybrid motors.
For off-road applications, fuel efficiency has become one of the most critical operational concerns, particularly as fuel costs continue to fluctuate and EPA regulations become even more demanding. So while we continue to focus on innovations that improve fuel efficiency, we’re broadening our vision even further. We’re developing an industry-wide plan to transition the category. By thinking more globally and focusing on even greater product innovations, we’ll help conserve greater natural resources and offer more environmentally-sound solutions for our customers to reduce their own carbon footprint and release our dependence on fossil fuels.
